Lorie Dilley, PhD, PE/CPG - General Manager


Lorie Dilley is the firm's Principal Geotechnical Engineer.  She is a graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage and the New Mexico Institute for Mining and Technology (NMIMT). Lorie recently received her PhD in Geochemistry from NMIMT.  She has over 20 years of experience in Alaska.  Lorie is the co-author of the Guidebook to Geology of Anchorage, Alaska and numerous conference papers. She specializes in geotechnical engineering, material evaluation, geology, and hydrology. Lorie has conducted over 500 geotechnical studies and is currently developing a new method for geothermal reservoir assessment for the U.S. Department of Energy using fluid inclusion gas analysis.


Lorie was selected as the Alaska Engineering Societies "Engineer of the Year" in 2010 by the Society of Women Engineers.  She is a lifelong Alaska resident with two children. Lorie has served on several nonprofit boards including Catholic Social Services and the Architecture and Engineering Marketing Association of Alaska.
